People outside Jajpur have feeling that people of Jajpur are very cunning,litigant,envious of other people’s success etc.; but I being a JAJPURIA feel proud to have been born and brought up in BIRAJA KHETRA and wish to breath my last here and here only and my body to be cremated in the cremation ground on the bank of river BAITARANI.

It is surprising to see that Jajpur is so less talked about. Definitely there is more to Odisha than meets the eye. Such a prolific combination of Shakti – Shiva – Sriman Narayana. Also, the environmental care is to applaud for. The Kusuma Lake looks really pristine. Jajpur surely proves to be a combination of history, art, devotion, penance and beauty. Not to forget that how Kings and local people helped restore it from time to time despite the Mughal invasions.Wonderful.

Adi Guru Shankaracharya’s stotra describing the Shaktipeeth across India It’s so nice. Jajpur is also a beautiful place in Odisha and is really amazing to experience.
