Thanks alot for wonderful sharing. Earlier I believed that mummies could be preserved only by application of mysterious chemical and found in Egypt! This informative post opens new arena of thought! Still it consolidates belief that in many field lots of research to be done!

I am going to Spiti in September. Your’s and Alka’s stories are of great help. I was thinking of going to Giu but didn’t know how much detour I will have to take. 7-8 km is pretty much doable. I am very excited as I will be riding a bike all the way from Delhi. Thanks for this story 🙂
