This is one gorgeous post! So many of us just go, see & come back w/o going into details of anything. You've done a marvelous job to bring this work to us.

I've seen a similar art in Thanjavur in Tamilnadu. Working method was almost similar but they were not always clay tablets. Yet to write about it.
