The fox lake was built by Hyderabad Nawab's in 1872AD with the help of Britisher's.

In those days (18century) this lake was completely surrounded by the forest and huge number of fox's use to come this lake. So the name is given to the lake as FOX lake.

Rally so beautiful. Fox sagar lake have a shape of fox. The sunset location are very beautiful on this lake.

As far as I know the name of the Lake came from the shape of the Lake. It looks like a Fox’s face. Check on Google maps carefully, you might find a resemblance.
