Shashi ji – not just second-largest, we have the thirds largest wall too in India at Amer Fort. Do read about that too on IndiTales.

So I would suggest the best season to visit Kumbhalgarh is the winter season. The temperature remains comfortable and is apt for visiting the monuments and other places of interest in Kumbhalgarh. The best months to visit are October, November, December, February and March.

Thanks Ronnie for update. This is as per the the official guide and there was no light and sound show when I visited this fort. I will try and re-confirm it with ASI and update.

Please do keep visiting and reading other posts.

However, I attended light and show inside the fort today and learned that the fort was conquered once by mughals once and was reconquered by Rajputs. That was the only time the fort was conquered by an enemy force. Rest of the article is up to the mark.
