Great sense of being apart of something without the typical tourist who feels the need to go and somehow “conquer it” But I would caution on your statement about it being the largest freshwater lake in the world. It isn’t even close to being the largest fresh water lake in the world by volume or surface area. titicaca is 8,300 sq km. There are a couple of dozen lakes that are bigger. Superior in Canada alone is 82,103 sq km. Almost 10x bigger
