Pelling is one of the best rustic splendour that Sikkim has to offer. The Rabdentse Ruins takes one to a completely different world altogether. It has a very haunting presence that stays with you forever, etched in memory. Nobody can ever forget their first experience of viewing the once regal capital of Sikkim. When it comes to food, the Sikkimese palate is at times less on spice and more on flavour.

This was one of the first posts I read before planning my trip to West Bengal and Sikkim trip. I was in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Gangtok, Pelling, Lachin, Lachung and Nathula Pass. The weather was really cold :-D. Thanks for this post as it was also a part of my decision making to Pelling 🙂 Not to say the pictures are stunning as always!
