Right, after enjoying hospitality in India, it is difficult to enjoy it anywhere else.

I’ve never stayed in a Mercure before but have heard fantastic things about their customer service. And I imagine this one being in India would raise the bar even higher, as hospitality in India is second to none!

The interiors are also impressive. What I am most delighted to see is the elaborate vegetarian meal. The name Maakhan, steeped in our mythology is also very adorable. Best part is that it is centrally located.

Ishani – May you get to travel to Dwarka and Gujarat soon enough.

Sara – Dwarka is a holy city and most people visiting here would avoid non-vegetarian food even if they otherwise eat it. It is an ancient city – the kinds that fascinate me the most.

I have been to Gujarat a few times but still, a large part of the state is unexplored. Gujarati thali will make you forget your carnivorous instincts.

But it makes sense in this location as there are so many vegetarians there, and vegetarian food in India is the best in the world, in my opinion. It’s also great that the city isn’t congested.

Dwaraka is certainly on my planned itinerary when I manage to visit Gujarat. The hotel seems quite comfortable. While I’m a certified carnivore, I do enjoy vegetarian food once in a while, and the Gujarati Thali seems just the right thing.
