I never would have thought that the musical pillars in the Vittala temple were played with by the tourist guide 18 years ago. On my recent journey, the guide simply explained to us the essence of the pillars and painted a beautiful imagery of the time when the temple was the citadel for cultural activity. But Hampi still has some hidden and unexplored territories that are not popularised by the tourists or the guides. Hope they remain undiscovered and untouched.
