Your recommendations for Kinkaku-Ji and Fushimi Inari Shrine are perfect. Renting a motorcycle sounds like a great way to explore Kyoto. I’m excited to experience the Philosopher’s Path and Gion Street.

The country is such a mix of technology, advanced sciences on one hand and culture, philosophy, spirituality on the other. Not to forget the brave Samurai warriors. Also, how can the Manga/Anime. be missed. Some of the best cartoons come from Japan. out of thew few key countries I would want to visit – Japan is definitely one of them. Soon want to to make it there. The visuals here itself are quite amazing.

Can not agree more with you, Sherab. To me, Japan always looks like an island of serenity – even when it is surrounded by all those glittering gadgets.

Looking at those heritages, I was nodding in agreement – they look like artistic works.
