I am from this village, used to visit during our summer vacation,still have those lovely images of the place, have my grandmother’s house there below the fort.
Have not been there for a long time.

The Fort Teracol Hotel is beautifully situated and the Church within its premices adds a lot to the place. It’s great that the people from the parish can visit the church. We had a wonderful stay there for three days ,of course we walked through the football field and saw footballers there, it did seem that football or soccer as it is called is loved by the villagers . Your blog influenced us to have a family vacation at Fort Tiracol, thank you. The stay was lovely, very charming. The Fort is featured in the movie Main Aur Charles, about Charles Sobhraj, starring Randeep Hooda!

Have been to Terekhol may years back even before the it was converted into a heritage hotel. It was beautiful even then. Very mystic and fascinating.

Missed doing this during our stay in GOA! Will definitely do this …the place looks so promising..ideal for a prefect getaway…and that church is very beautiful 🙂
