2014 for me was a year of receiving or of getting back. It was a year of milestones and a year that I would cherish for a long time to come.

Looking Back at 2014 – Decade of Travel Blogging

My debut book The Mouse Charmers – Digital Pioneers of India came out in April 2014. I had spent all of 2013 working on this book and am happy that the book has been well received.

My Book reviews blog AnuReviews got featured in Limca Book of Records for being the largest book reviews blog in India and in return, I gave it a new look & feel this year.

I completed 10 years of blogging and it was a good point in time to look back at this wonderful journey. I chose a new identity for my travel blog – www.Inditales.com. Now you can also find me on YouTube and Instagram.

I moved to Goa just by a serendipitous stroke of destiny. I would not mind living here for the rest of my life – that usually refuses to be anchored in one place.

Travel-wise this year was relatively low. Still, I traveled to

Dandeli in March

Malvan in April

Kerala in May

Thailand in July

Satara in August

Gujarat in October

Madhya Pradesh and Delhi in November

But then, living in Goa is no less than being on eternal travel. We have been enjoying simple living in this smallest state in India never too far from nature. It’s a blessing to see the sun going down on the beach, to drive through the fields and water bodies, and to see the happy tourists all over the place. A bit of Bohemia, a bit of culture, and lots of festivities & easy living is what the state of Goa means to me.

Wish you all a very Happy New Year.
