What Kind of Traveler you are

For me it reads I am a ‘Rough Traveler’. And goes on to say ‘When the going gets tough, the tough guy gets going! Sleep outside, hike up mountains, eat raw lizards for breakfast, that’s his perfect holiday. Ten days of hiking through unspoiled jungle between Colombia and Panama, that kind of thing.’

Not that I disagree…It says the top destinations for me are: Ciudad Perdida, Hampi, and Kashmir. Now I have been to Hampi and Kashmir, but where is this place ‘Ciudad Perdida’. Now I know Google is always there, but if someone has heard about this place do let me know. It also tells me the kind of destination I should avoid: Acapulco, Las Vegas, and Tokyo. Not a bad profiling at all. I do dislike crowded places hence I am not sure how I would find Tokyo and Las Vegas, here again, no idea where Acapulco is?

  1. My tavel type according to the site is “Party animal”. The description for this type completely fits me. I would rather be a “rough traveler”. It sounds so much cooler.

  2. also it tells me that the places I must visit are Las Vegas, Tokyo, cairo etc…..

These are the ones it tells you to avoid.

So I guess the opposite of a “Rough traveller”
    is a ‘party animal”.

  3. i am apparently the Culture Buff… which i truly am…

    “Your travel type: Culture Buff
The culture buff needs to see a museum, an art gallery, a 16-th century church every day during his holiday. When he travels he is always well prepared. He has read history books, speaks a few words of the lingo, knows about the strange habits the locals have.”

and my top destinations arent very different from yours…
    Hampi
    Ciudad Perdida
    Alice Springs

what is Ciudad Perdida and Alice Springs????
Hampi i too have been too 🙂

  4. We have rated a number of destinations on a few criteria. We also rate the answers on the same criteria. Matrix calculations brings us the profile and the destinations that best match the answers you’ve given. It works, I gues, although we could still improve it. More destinations e.g. would help get a more detailed advice.

  5. Nice blog. It is important to know that what type of traveler you are? Before going to any place, always find the destinations which you like to travel. Thanks for sharing this idea.
